How to hire the best people

Marc Andreessen writes the best blog posts on Internet startups that I’ve ever read. This guy has inspired and seriously educated me several times. I just can’t say enough good stuff about him. For example, I just re-read his post on how to hire the best people you’ve ever worked with. This is pure gold, especially since after having the right idea, hiring the right people is the key element to growing a great startup. I understand from experience what Marc talks about in this post. I’ve worked with a lot of independent contractors and I can tell you that very few of them were truly awesome (I hope to woo the awesome ones to my startup). Anyway, read everything you can by Marc Andreessen, then go back and read it all again.
