you’re comparing apples to oranges. Firefox 3, currently in beta passes the test. You’re clearly showing a screenshot of IE8 and a current rendering of Firefox using the broken test. The test creators have admitted that the test is currently broken and will be fixed by the end of the year. If you had IE8 to do the actual test with, you’d see the same problem (try safari or opera which both pass, and it’s broken there too).

There’s even a note at the wikipedia entry for the test explaining that it’s the test that’s broken.

Thanks for the update Asa. I admit I didn’t test it myself in IE8 - I grabbed that graphic from their developer blog. My bad!
