Tor hack of the year
Here’s the story of how one white-hat hacker figured out how to easily snoop on embassies around the world, tried to alert them, and then gave up and just posted sensitive login info online to get their attention. In other news, looks like there’s a huge business in helping security-minded corporations and government agencies learn to setup Tor properly. Tor looks really awesome, but the paranoid element in me wonders if it really is secure, or if it’s just a government ploy. In this case, isn’t it too good not to be a ploy?
