All hail the Delicious Monster

I love the beautiful interface of Delicious Monster, the coolest media organizer for the Mac. I’ve written about their interface before, but now I’m stoked about their next version (preview here). It looks like you will be able to export your library and view the exported libraries of your friends. I really think Delicious Monster could be on to something huge if they took a few social lessons from Lala and ilike. Why not allow one click physical media swapping, with postal stamps that print on your computer? Why not create a fully-hosted online version of Delicious Monster that stores your media library files in one place? Why not give me recommendations based on what others own and like, making money off of affiliate relationships with Amazon and Itunes? And after you build that ultimate social media browsing experience, why not port it to windows ala Itunes? You’ve got the interface hook, now go social and enable easy media discovery.
