Be Cool like Flickr

Man, Flickr is just awesome. I love their fresh and clean design, I love how the tiny gray letters above their logo profess their love for me, and I love the other great copy all throughout their site. And by great I mean fun and inviting. I’m blaming this bout of Flickr love on a recent email I got from them telling me that a friend had approved my friend request. The wording in the email really struck me because it was short, fun, and personal. That’s a trifecta that most sites miss by unfortunately wide margins. I’m hoping that by writing about this I can absorb of some of their talent for writing great copy. Check out their email after the jump.
