Back from vacation, spirit renewed
Ok, alright already, I’m back from vacation and it’s time to get back to posting. The world moves fast, and there is a lot of new stuff that I’ve just got to talk about. But before I jump back into the fray, I want to share something deeply inspiring to me. I have this growing hunch that true success in life and business stems from having a true appreciation of what it is to be human, from being able to emote and empathize- and that this path instead of being untruthful, selfish and manipulative, is what will bring the greatest success and feelings of fulfillment. These values were brought home today when I read this BBC article about Bill Clinton’s call for “ubuntu”, which is an African worldview that translates as “I am because you are.” The article goes on and explains it rather beautifully. Before I go, let me say that I am thankful for everyone of you, my readers. In more ways than I probably know, I am because you are.
