Three stories by Steve Jobs
The three stories are in Steve’s own words, spoken for Stanford’s 2005 commencement ceremony. I love how he makes it simple right from the beginning: “I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That’s it. No big deal. Just three stories.” The stories are about why not going the traditional route in college shaped his life for the better, how being ousted from Apple led him to a new level of personal creativity and happiness, and finally how almost dying reaffirmed his belief that life is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
