Introducing Citizen Agency

I really like what I’m reading in this One Degree interview with Citizen Agency’s Tara Hunt. I’ve already cultivated a liking for Tara and her maniacal brand of community-building-based marketing. But now that she’s teamed up with her Citizen cohorts Ben Metcalfe and Chris Messina, I think they’ve really got something complete. I love how part of their approach is to help companies implement openness via APIs and then build a developer community around that core concept. They understand that getting the geeks is crucial to creating a lasting tech company. Tara says Citizen Agency employs “strategies for customer delight… not customer acquisition. The latter naturally flows from the former.” I can’t wait to see what they come up with for each client in their fully-booked roster.
