Not having a blog will lose you business. This statement is true now, and will only become more true. You need only to flip that around to realize that you shouldn’t wait to blog: Having a blog can bring you business, and that’s crucial knowledge. The great thing is, it doesn’t matter if anyone else is on this trend for blogging to work for your company. Bill Sweetman has a story involving whales and blogging which illustrates this point well. The most telling quote: “I chose to go whale watching with Quoddy Link Marine, not because they had a blog, but because of what the blog revealed to me about the company and its staff, something a typical corporate Website is not usually very good at.”
