Broken on purpose
Via Google video, Seth Godin gives a hilarious presentation about things that are broken. His point is that because there are so many things that are completely broken, causing the end user frustration and annoyance, there is also great opportunity to best the competition and surprise your users by making things that are smooth and most definitely not broken. A great point for sure, but that’s not why I’m writing this post. Seth highlighted a category of things that are broken on purpose.
